Will Chiru contest from Tirupati?

For the last several months, there is a strong feeler that megastar Chiranjeevi will contest from the famous pilgrim town Tirupati in the ensuing assembly elections. It is a foregone decision that B. Karunakar Reddy, presently the TTD Chairman and a close associate of Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy, will contest the Tirupati seat as Congress candidate. In the last elections, Reddy missed the party ticket at the last minute. The sitting MLA, Venkataramana, is said to have decided to leave the chance to Reddy this time. For the last two years, Reddy as the TTD chairman won the confidence of the local population in a big way, and made the foreground ready. Basically, Tirupati is the stronghold of the Congress. However, the pilgrim city holds a stunning segment of the population belonging to the community of Chiru. Under these circumstances, if Chiru were to contest from Tirupati, surely it will be local politics Vs community, according to hardcore local politicians in Tirupati.
