Charmi has always kept Telugu cinema her top priority. Now, the charming lady is making inroads into Tamil cinema as well.
Even as her latest release ‘Mantra’ runs to packed houses in Andhra, the next project Charmi is looking forward to promises to make her a hot property in Kollywood. It is the bilingual film ‘Ladam’ to be directed by Prabhu Solomon.
The movie will have Charmi doing comedy. Her role is also a glamourous one. Newcomer Aravind is Charmi’s male co-star in the flick.
While Charmi admits she has not yet made a foothold in Tamil cinema, she is confident that things will change after ‘Ladam’.
And the lovely belle isn’t worried about competition in Kollywood. She says Tamil moviedom queens like Nayanthara and Trisha are her friends.
Charmi says she rather compete with herself than with others.
