Salman's Veer starts rolling

All the speculations around Salman Khan's Veer can now stop. The period film, scripted by Salman Khan is all set to go on the floors on August 6.

Apparently the Khans have even found a new girl to play the lead. However no one is ready to reveal her identity. Sohail Khan and Mithun Chakraborty have also been signed to essay some very important characters in the film.

Sajid-Wajid have composed the music for this movie produced by Vijay Ghalani. Director Anil Sharma tells us, "Veer is going on floors on August 6 as planned. A huge set has been erected at Mehboob Studios in Bandra. This film is set in the 1800s. We will start the shoot with a song picturisation. We have also finalised the girl but we don't want to disclose the details. Sohail and Mithun are playing vital characters in this film"

Veer is a period film written by Salman Khan and will see him play the role of a good samaritan.
