Mukhbiir producer offers money refund to dissatisfied customers

The Hyderabad-based producers Color Chips of the forthcoming film Mukhbiir have come up with a unique market concept to ensure the viewers' satisfaction. If you don't like the film, which opens on July 11, you can refund your ticket and get your money back.

Explaining the motivation behind introducing this never-before customer-satisfaction scheme, the Mukhbiir producer Sudhish Rambhotla says, "When we've money-back guarantee for consumers in other business why not in the entertainment industry? This money-refund satisfaction-guarantee has never been done in the entertainment industry in any part of the world. Movie making is like any mass manufacturing business. So why can't we assure quality to the consumer?"

Rambhotla's generous offer comes from his confidence in the quality of the film. "So far, whoever has seen Mukhbiir has been riveted. So I'm confident no one will want back their money. However, if they do, they're most welcome to get back the money."

This offer has for now been extended to the first 5000 tickets in the first week of the film's release. "Any patron within the first 5,000 tickets in the first week can mail us the ticket with a refund demand. We'll send them a Demand Draft within 30 days. We've called it the Satisfactory Guarantee Challenge. We're so sure of Mukhbiir that I've already decided to make a sequel to the film. That will be our production company Color Chips' next project."
