Now with the flavour of Sarkar Raj having settled in, and with Ramu having saved face we're happy for him, what's next on the line for Abhishek? The man is busy shooting for Karan Johar's Dostana , and rehearsing for his world tour. It's for the first time that the three Bachchans - Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya - will go all round the world performing stage shows.
While Abhishek loves dancing, Amitabh describes it as a 'difficult task that wasn't enjoyable years ago, and isn't still!" Talking about dancing, Abhi has just finished shooting for an item number in Mission Istanbul . He did it for for director-friend Apoorva Lakhia. On the film front, AB Jr.'s next release will be Drona in October.
The film was to release in August, but detailed post production work will take some time. Some people who have had a dekko of the film albeit without the SFX, say, "It's a good film, but will reach a completely different level once the SFX are introduced." Abhishek looks magnificent in this one – with all those robes et al. We're told, " Drona has been worked upon by practically all leading SFX companies in India. While an average film which would have around 100-200 shots of SFX, Drona has 1000 plus shots, so you can imagine the scale."
Now, that would require some 'wide stretch' of imagination!
