Aamir delays Ghajini for Imran Khan

Aamir Khan's Ghajini, which was supposed to release on October 2, has now been delayed since it was clashing with nephew Imran Khan's Kidnap.

The superstar's spokesperson told us, "Aamir did not want that his film to be released with Imran Khan's second film Kidnap as he wants the film to do really well just like Jaane Tu…"

Adds the spokesperson, "For two month the shooting of Ghajini was stopped as he was busy with the promotions of Jaane Tu… Now he is busy shooting some important parts of Ghajini. As you all know, he was injured while shooting the climax portions. That also delayed the film a bit. So the distributors decided to change the release date. The new date will be decided only after the shooting gets over."

Meanwhile, Kidnap director Sanjay Gadhvi is also excited about his film with Imran. "The fact that Imran's debut film is a hit will naturally be beneficial for Kidnap. He has got a huge female fans following. Also my film has Sanjay Dutt so that helps anytime."

Despite the delay of Ghajini, the Eid-Gandhi Jayanti (October 2nd) line up looks quite interesting with Abhishek Bachchan's Drona and Salman Khan's Wanted Dead and Alive taking on Sanjay Dutt & Imran Khan's Kidnap.
