Gunde Jhallumandi gets record price!

Satellite rights for a small-budget movie touched the stars, without any heavy star cast! Madan, who started his directorial career with Pellaina Kothalo... and gave Jagapathi Babu a whiff of fresh breath in his career, is now all set to soon release his next venture Gunde Jhallumandi, also made on his home banner Aa Naluguru Films.

Starring Uday Kiran and Aditi Sharma, neither of whom guarantee a huge market, and with music score from the hit music director M.M. Keeravani, the film set a new record! The satellite rights for the film were sold at a whopping Rs. 2 crores, which was never heard of for a small-budget movie!

Given that the hero doesn't have a sure market at this point of time, it's a surprise that the director could garner such a hefty price, which reminds of the film's title literally, with just his name tagged to the movie!
