Writer Vegesna Satish turns director with new comedy titled Dongala Bandi. The film starring Allari Naresh in the lead role was launched today (June 12, 2008) at Annapoorna Studios. Newcomer GSK Naidu produces the movie.
“After Seema Shasthry, I am excited with this script. I am sure that it will be rollicking entertainer like that movie. Vegesna has prepared a story that will entertain everyone,” Allari Naresh said.
Vegesna said the film is about the ‘journey’ that some thieves take. “People might come to wrong conclusions that it is about train. The film focuses around some petty thieves and their journey,” he said.
Ali wished that the film should bring the name and fame to Naresh that his father EVV received with Ali Baba Aradozen Dongalu.
A sexy glam doll Tanya is being introduced with this.
