Vishal's Salute on Aug 15th

Hero Vishal's bilingual film Salute (in Telugu) and Satyam (Tamil) is planned to release on August 15th as Independence Day gift to the audience. Vishal plays the role of an ACP, for which he took meticulous care in many aspects, such as hairstyle, body language and some peculiar cop mannerisms. Producer and hero's brother Vikram Krishna is said to have engaged the services of a couple of senior police officers to advice not only on the characterization of Vishal, but in its execution too, particularly in stunts and mannerisms. Nayantara plays the female lead. Earlier, Vikram Krishna said the film would release with 750 prints worldwide. If it really happens, the prints figure might be the largest ever in the South. An ex-journalist Rajasekhar makes his debut as director for this film.
